Beulah Park Founded in 1923, Beulah Park holds the

Detroit Race Course In 1949, Kentucky horsemen E.E. “Dale” Shaffer came to Detroit intent on building a new, first-class thoroughbred racing facility. Philadelphia Park Philadelphia Park, originally called Keystone, opened in November of 1974. In 1984 the racetrack received its new name, a new turf course and an exciting, innovative new way to wager called "Phonebet". In 1990 a full card simulcasting was added as well as five off-track locations called "Turf Clubs".
